Where are you from and how long have you been in Delhi?
I am from Birmingham, UK, and have been living and working in Delhi for seven years.
What is your take on the city?
Delhi is a beautiful city. There are great restaurants, shopping places and plenty to do. It is a traditional and multicultural city full of life. There is lots of opportunity for work. Delhi has good infrastructure, and there has been plenty of advancement in the economy and city.
And what do you think about the people here?
The people of Delhi are diverse, from different parts of the world. It is a cosmopolitan city and a cultural hub.
Which are the places you visit in your free time and would recommend to visitors?
I like going to Vasant Vihar Ambience and Emporio Mall for shopping and eating out. Being a spiritual person, I regularly visit Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in CP. Nizamuddin Dargah at Nizamuddin is another favourite.
Which are the historical places which deserve a visit?
The Qutub Minar, Safdarjung’s Tomb, Red Fort, Mahatma Gandhi Samadhi, and India Gate just to name a few. There are so many historical places in Delhi; it has a huge cultural history.
